- The heat detector is an input fire alarm device that is responsible for sending a fire alarm signal to the fire alarm center when a fire or explosion occurs.
- Heat detectors operate based on the increase in ambient temperature where a fire occurs. When there is a fire, heat will be emitted and it will be dispersed to the surrounding space, through which the heat detector will send a fire alarm signal to the fire alarm center for processing.
- There are 2 types of heat detectors: Rising Heat Detector and Fixed Heat Detector.
